Alaska Sports Betting: All You Need to Know Plus Top Betting Tools Which is the best Pinnacle dropping odds alert service?Bet Hero is one of the newer betting services on the market, offering positive value bets (+EV) and arbitrage betting alerts. Run by a company called Infinit Software SLU from Andorra, it is an excellent choice for bettors looking to get into arbitrage or value betting. Bet Hero is the only service that allows bettors to get their alerts via Discord.
Bet Hero provides positive value bets (+EV) and arbitrage betting alerts at a reasonable price. They are missing some of the quality-of-life features like automatic bet settlement in the bet tracker and some more advanced users will miss the ability to create multiple filters. But at the same time, Bet Hero is the only service enabling bettors to get their arbitrage and +EV alerts via Discord.
How does Bet Hero determine which odds are +EV? Their system does a weighted average of the market to calculate the true odds, including sharp books and exchanges. According to the developers, sharp bookmakers like Pinnacle are weighted more heavily in the market average calculation.
I find it difficult to rate this product. It is not bad, but the value depends on the payment plan you choose. If you opt for the yearly subscription (recommended if you have friends who can share their bookmaker accounts), which costs around 66 EUR per month, I would rate it an A. Use our link to get an additional 20% off your first order, bringing the cost down to about 53 EUR per month, which is a steal!
However, if you choose the monthly subscription at approximately 100 EUR, it seems a bit overpriced considering that similar alternatives offer more options. In that case, I would give it a solid B+.

Bet Hero offers a decent coverage of crypto bookmakers and is currently the only service that supports bookmaker.xyz and Dexsports. By displaying true odds for every value bet, Bet Hero can also be used on other sites. However, by combining Bet Hero with SureBet (which offers free value betting but includes a five-minute scanning delay and some missing features), you can achieve exceptional coverage of crypto bookmakers.
The US bookmaker coverage is great, not on the same level as OddsJam, but still, it is an excellent choice for US-based bettors.
For the 100 most popular bookmakers in the world, they support a total of 47, which is not bad. If you want to see how they compare against other betting tools in terms of bookmaker coverage, here is a spreadsheet of 950+ bookmakers.
Bet Hero has 188bet and Cloudbet marked as a sharp bookmakers. While 188bet might have been considered sharp in the past (like SBOBET), I don’t think this is the case anymore. The same with Cloudbet, I don’t really consider them sharp, they restrict value betting accounts in 24 hours, but at least they pay out.
Every +EV bet alert you get has fair odds section, which makes this tool usable on unsupported bookmakers, like in shops or on terminals and with local bookmakers.
The bookmakers are categorised by the owners or odds providers and countries, which makes it easier to find where you can place your bets. They had some unsupported bookmakers listed for my home country, Slovenia, but keep in mind that it is challenging to find a reliable source that provides information about which countries are restricted by bookmakers. Bookmakers themselves often lack accurate list of restricted countries.
Bet Hero supports most of the major markets, including basketball and baseball player props, but the Asian Handicap markets like -/+ 0.75 or 1.25 (where part of your stake would either win or lose and the second part would be void) are not supported. You also can’t add half won/half lost type of bets to the betting tracker.
Bet Hero supports a total of 26 sports, but when I selected table tennis, volleyball, boxing, handball, cricket, darts, esports, futsal, and other minor sports (18 in total, using all 236 bookmakers), their algorithm gets me way less bets that some of the competition, which is a little disappointing. As for arbing, I got similar results.
Using the same filters on Rebelbetting and BetBurger, I get plenty of bets. While you will still get plenty of bets with Bet Hero (no worries here), it might not be the best service for niche sports.
At the same time, I am not saying that you should only bet niche sports, which is actually a nice way to get limited quickly at some sportsbooks, but at the same time, some bookmakers might apply restrictions per sport, for example, you might be stake-limited in tennis, but you can still place full stake bets on darts. It is always good to have options. For almost all people, access to soccer, basketball, american football, baseball value bets is more than enough!
All in all, the market coverage is adequate. The only negative would be that they don’t offer in-play markets and the fact that their filter system is pretty basic.
At first, the main dashboard did not work on mobile, so at the start, you had to set up the filters and alerts on desktop (it could be done on mobile if you load the app in desktop mode, but it is a little clunky). As of now, this is no longer a must, as the dashboard is fully functional on mobile.
To get the most out of the service and access all the guides and Discord channels, you need to connect Discord to your account. I had no idea I had to do that, and it took me quite a while to figure out that there is a setting for this in the user settings. It could be because I haven’t finished high school, but I also didn’t received a welcome email with instructions.
One of the biggest drawbacks of Bet Hero is the fact that you cannot create multiple filters. Right now you only have the ability to customise only the most basic things like the range of EV, market vig, bookmakers, sports, but no ability to exclude certain markets. The most useful example would be that you only want to bet to receive alerts for certain markets at certain bookmakers.
If Bet Hero is your only source of bets, the bet tracker is fine. It looks nice, has most of the essential features, but it is missing the ability to add half win/lost half void types of bets. There is no automatic settlement of results, and there is also no option to export your history.
Still, all this is fine for 90% of users, but if you are looking for something more advanced (and more expensive), the likes of BetBurger or OddsJam might suit you better.
As mentioned in the previous section, I haven’t received a welcome email with any pointers or instructions, which almost made me lose out on the Discord integration. Things like this should be communicated more clearly; a welcome email with all the important links would be very helpful to new users, especially if they are completely new to sports betting. But at the same time, I haven’t received any annoying emails urging me to buy the service, which is a plus in my book.
There is the usual email support, and while there is no live chat on the website itself, the developers are quite active on the Discord server. This makes sense considering how tightly integrated the service is with Discord.

Out of the box, the initial filters are already pretty good. There is not much in terms of customisation, all you need to do is to connect your account to Discord (if you want alerts).
Change the EV range to 4% – 25%. You don’t want to go extremely high here, as you want to avoid betting on bookmaker mistakes (typos, switched teams and so on), as these kind of bets will either get cancelled or have their odds corrected. As for the winning probability, I would personally go with the 30% – 60% range, which get you alerts within the 1.40 – 3.30 decimal odds range.
If you are already betting on a stake-limited account, consider removing both the 15% value and the 30% winning probability cap and try to get in on as much action as you can until they completely shut you down.
One thing Bet Hero sorely misses is the ability to add multiple filters. For example, if you have multiple bet365 accounts, some new and some limited, custom filters can save you a lot of time.
How does Bet Hero compare to other similar services? it comes close to the likes of RebelBetting and Betburger, but they are missing some good-to-have features like additional filters and in-play betting alerts. Check below for a more detailed comparison.
Both RebelBetting and Bet Hero offer value betting and arbitrage alerts under one subscription.
RebelBetting’s Starter plan offers a bit more, including automatic bet settlement in their bet tracker, and a total of two custom filters.
But is also has some limitations, up to 7% max value bets and up to 3.5% arbitrage bets.
If you want more filters and access to value bets on Betfair and Smarkets (not for beginners!), then you should go with RebelBetting Pro.
However, if you are only looking to bet on soft bookmakers and have enough accounts, then purchasing a yearly Bet Hero subscription (around 60 EUR per month) offers much better value!
Full reviewBetBurger has been on the market for a long time and offers many more features than Bet Hero, including unlimited filters and access to their in-house odds comparison portal, but it is also significantly more expensive.
Both are a bit wonky on the mobile side of things, but they are still usable.
In terms of US bookmaker coverage, Bet Hero comes ahead.
The biggest difference between BetBurger and Bet Hero is the in-play alerts. If you are after in-play betting alerts, you have to go with BetBurger.
However, if you only want pre-match alerts, Bet Hero will give you similar results for about one third of BetBurger’s monthly price.
Full reviewTrademate has two plans that can rival Bet Hero; Trademate Core and Trademate US.
Trademate Core costs about 120 EUR monthly and provides access to most important bookmakers. For an additional 180 EUR (300 EUR per month in total), you can get access to in-play value bets.
In terms of US coverage, Trademate US is quite limited, with just four US-centric sports and nine bookmakers, compared to Bet Hero’s 20+ US bookmakers. However, if you are fine with the limited number of bookmakers, you can get access to in-play alerts for about 100 USD.
It’s worth noting that Trademate doesn’t support any crypto bookmakers.
Full reviewOddsJam offers arbitrage alerts, +EV alerts, odds comparison, and some matched betting tools.
OddsJam is a US-focused service, which is evident from its enormous US bookmaker coverage; 50+ bookmakers compared to Bet Hero’s 20+.
When it comes to crypto bookmakers, OddsJam is so far the only service that supports SX.bet. However, aside from Stake, this is the extent of their crypto coverage.
OddsJam is significantly more expensive than Bet Hero, but you also get access to over 40 US bookmakers, middles and low-hold bets, in-play alerts and matched betting tools.
Full reviewSurebet offers arbitrage and value betting alerts at a lower cost, but one disadvantage is that they only scan each bookmaker every five minutes, potentially resulting in some outdated alerts.
In terms of bookmaker coverage, Surebet is superior, but Bet Hero stands out with unique additions like bookmaker.xyz and Dexsport.
Bet Hero works better on mobile, especially if you opt for its Discord alerts.
If you’re on a budget or prefer not to pay for the yearly Bet Hero membership, Surebet is a viable alternative.
Given that Surebet offers a free tier with access to their value betting alerts, using both services simultaneously could enhance your bookmaker coverage effectively.
Full reviewBreakingBet offers pre-match and in-play arbitrage and value betting alerts on a budget.
Bet Hero works better on mobile, especially if you opt for its Discord alerts.
In terms of bookmaker coverage, Bet Hero comes ahead in every category; it covers more US bookmakers, includes a wider range of crypto bookmakers, and provides superior overall coverage among the top 100 most popular bookmakers.
If you are looking for in-play betting alerts on a budget, go with Breaking Bet.
However, if you prefer pre-match alerts, Bet Hero offers significantly better bookmaker coverage.
You could also combine both services and get pre-match and in-play coverage for less than 100 EUR per month.
